Zoning Information

Please call 330-591-1881 before you build or erect any structure on your property, including barns, houses, decks, pools and fences. Zoning Certificates issued after work started shall be charged a double fee.

Zoning Commission 2026 Meeting Dates

The Zoning Commission meets the second Tuesday of every month at the Litchfield Town hall at 7:00 pm. Meetings are open, and the public is always welcome to attend. Special meetings will be announced as they arise.

The Board of Zoning Appeals meets the first Monday of every other month beginning in January with the meetings starting at 6:30pm. BZA will meet for training the second Monday of every other month beginning in April; start time is 6:30pm in the townhall. Any meetings requiring formal action will be announced separately.
