The Litchfield Town Band welcomes you!

 

What’s New

Our Town Band celebrates our community with friendship and music.  There’s nothing like a summer concert at the Gazebo with ice cream or a Christmas event, right?  Band leader Cindy Bennett and the Litchfield band cordially invite musicians high school age and beyond to join them in rehearsals and performances.

Rehearsals:

  • The Litchfield Town Band will rehearse Tuesdays from 7:00 – 8:00 in the Litchfield Town Hall or the Annex.

    •  May 5, 12, 19, June 2, 9, 16, 23, July 7 @ 7:00pm

  • Litchfield Memorial Day Service – Sunday, May 24, 2026 @ 1:30pm

  • Chatham Memorial Day Service – Monday, May 25, 2026 @ 10:00am Parade

  • Friday, June 5 – Litchfield Leprechauns 4-H Club @ 7:00pm

  • Friday, June 12 – Buckeye Music Boosters @ 7:00pm

  • Friday, June 19 – Litchfield Scholarship Committee @ 7:00pm

Litchfield Town Band Fun Facts

  • The Kruggle/Smith family has played in the band for 4 generations. The oldest band member Jim Plummer is 93, and the youngest Reed Davis is 10 (he started with the band at 5).

  • Current band members share their talents from 11 different zip codes!

  • The Town Band plays over 200 different songs each year.

  • Besides being good friends, band members share the following relationships: grandmothers, mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, granddaughters, grandsons, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, husband and wife.

  • Our new historical marker is only the 8th of 9 markers in Medina County.
